This is an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced Business Development Specialist with strong relationship-building, objection handling and negotiation skills. You will be a proactive natural hunter who can build a robust opportunity pipeline.
The Role As the Business Development Specialist, you will:
Establish relationships with new and existing clients from an extensive databaseDevelop relationships with key accounts to maximise revenueGenerate leads, undertake cold calling, and qualify leadsPresent proposals at client sites and negotiate salesProvide feedback to assist in the development of new businessAttend industry functions, such as association events, tradeshows and conferences and provide feedback and information on market trends in the development of new businessUndertake frequent travel throughout Queensland, Northern NSW and Northern Territory (a requirement)Submit weekly progress reports in line with business requirements Maintain a high level of customer contact and be able to present effectively at all levels of business Achieve business plan associated KPIsSkills and Experience The successful applicant will be a suitably experienced salesperson who has the following:
