With over 20 years-experience of working with governments, IGO's, NGO's, charitable organizations, and commercial responders, this is Priority's World.Position OverviewPriority Worldwide is seeking an outgoing, motivated sales professional to contribute to the development of our existing and prospective commercial client base. Candidates must possess a strong desire to learn and sell Priority services and proactively interact with Priority personnel and clients. Priority will provide the infrastructure and resources to successfully market our company. It is expected that the Sales Executive will utilize the tools provided and further develop our system to successfully capture market share. A successful Priority sales executive must contribute new ideas and aggressively target potential business. Relationship building, account maintenance and follow through are essential characteristics required of this person. You will be provided continued technical training and support on air freight, ocean freight, project management logistics, ground transport, warehousing, and customs brokerage. Additionally, you will receive training on our quote system, and learning about our CRM and opportunity management process. You will also be exposed to our longer-term strategy and growth targets.Basic DutiesEstablishes and maintains client contacts and develops sales strategy.Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned clientele and develop a deep understanding of customer needs and long-term business strategies.Constant communication with clients via in-person visits, phone and e-mail to strengthen existing business ties and generate new revenue opportunities.Negotiate contracts, prepares quotations and proposals for clients.Dissemination of pertinent SOP's and industry Information to operations staff.Interact with all operations and customer service staff (domestic, export, and Import) to ensure completion of activities and a cohesive team environment.Augment resolution of any problems, concerns, etc. that develop with clients, vendors and operations.Assist with and coordinate client education seminars.Accurate and timely utilization of Priority's CRM and Operations system to manage client relationships, pipelines and opportunities.Weekly attendance of solos, management, and/or operational meetings as requested/needed, including preparation of reports for management.Participation in development of relative marketing materials, tradeshow displays, etc.Travel as needed to develop, secure and maintain target business.Market research to identify new clients and to expand business with existing clients in identified markets.Identification of new business opportunities that will contribute to personal/company growth based on market feedback/research.Basic Requirements5 years' experience in sales5 years of experience in freight forwardingAbility to negotiate and close complex dealsAbility to work well with other functional heads of the business to develop strategies, plans and set objectivesCandidates with experience in Government and Defense sales preferredExperience using Cargowise preferredBenefits and CompensationIndividual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasonsBase Salary AUD70K-AUD100K, annually, depending on experienceCommission paid on sales made-Non-Capped, Non DecliningExpense Account and Corporate Credit CardMobile phone and Laptop ProvidedMonthly Car AllowancePaid Time Off3 Days of Paid Time off for Volunteer Work
