This person works in dedicated partnership with specific Account Executives (AEs) and independently while managing a work-life balance in a steady, yet critical role.
This is a remote position and candidates must be located in either Sydney or Melbourne.
What you'll be doing...Working directly with your AE partners to jointly develop your assigned territory, with targeted strategies and relevant account plansOutbound lead/opportunity generation and nurturing activities within your assigned territory in accounts with 3,000+ employeesEngaging in meaningful introductory value-based conversations with both business and IT executives within prospective clientsExecuting against proven sales processes to generate interest and new sales opportunities Managing the early stages of the sales process, including qualification, to ensure proper engagement with field sales and quality pipeline creationMapping prospective accounts around organizational structure, people and existing technology to find where our solutions fit within their environmentLeveraging CRM/Sales tools to create, manage, and strategically align early stage opportunities, in conjunction with your AE partnersMay be asked to perform other duties as requiredWhat you'll bring to the table...2+ years of experience in Business Development/Inside Sales, with proven success in generating high-quality opportunities and driving prospective customer interactions in the Enterprise spaceEagerness to pick up the phone, make calls, and drive outbound activity, combined with the professional tact to communicate with executives at some of the largest companies in the worldExcellent writing skills that demonstrate professionalism and compelling reasoningAn intellectual curiosity and keenness to learn about critical issues facing global companiesAbility to take the initiative to get things done and maintain a high level of organizationA desire to win through the closing of team sales and revenue generationMost importantly, you share our values...
