You will focus on acquiring new business across NSW and QLD, offering our key solutions for inhouse counsel, Practical Guidance and Lexis+ AI.
This is a permanent full-time role based either in Sydney or Brisbane with the hybrid arrangements to have flexible work-life balance.
Responsibilities: Achieve Sales Target – Manage the sale through the 7 Step Sale Process (Prospect, Connect, Discover, Develop, Propose, Contract, Close). Proactively sell Lexis Nexis products to new potential customers. Achieve and exceed where possible your monthly sales target
Prospect - Manage inbound leads, Initiate contact with potential customer via telephone, email, in person.
Connect - Cold calling in line Key Performance Objectives
Discover - Establish the potential customer needs in line with our product offering
Develop - Proactively build a relationship with the potential customer, recognizing value add opportunities
Propose - Create an opportunity / offer for the potential customer that's aligned to the customer need and accurately reflects the potential sale
Contract - Generate contract and sign off in line with Lexis Nexis Policy
Close - Proactively close the sale with the customer in the pre-determined timeframe
Product knowledge - Support in raising potential customer awareness of our products and connect with Client Experience and Learning Team
Reporting - Record all actions in CRM and update on a regular basis.
Requirements: Degree qualified with strong Sales/Business Development experience ideally within legal / SAAS / software services sales industries.
Demonstrated experience using solution and consultative selling approaches.
B2B selling experience to value of $100K plus.
Territory and stakeholder management at executive level with the ability to nurture relationships at a strategic level.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills and proven ability to negotiate.
Ability to write complex correspondence and proposals.
Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy.
Strong numeracy skills, sales reporting and CRM management with proficiency in MS Excel.
