What you'll be doing:
Based at our Brisbane Head Office, the Business Development Representative role focuses on Virgin Australia's Business Flyer program. In this phone-based position, you'll manage a portfolio of over 150 potential clients, nurturing leads, securing sign-ups, and boosting revenue from both new and existing customers. You'll also have the opportunity to attend events, expanding your network and further driving sales.
In addition you will:
Meet and exceed sales targets while driving revenue growth and enhancing revenue quality within the SME Business Flyer program.
Actively pursue leads and close sales to boost revenue from existing customers.
Contribute to the creation of a comprehensive revenue development strategy for the SME Business Flyer program.
Consistently achieve daily call volume targets to maintain strong client engagement.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed within SLA timelines, supporting team revenue and customer service objectives.
Develop and implement a customer engagement strategy, with support from your manager and team.
Handle all phone calls and emails with professionalism, ensuring a positive and seamless customer experience.
Accurately assess customer needs during phone consultations, offering tailored solutions and expert advice.
Ensure all provided information is clear, precise, and accurate.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Virgin Australia products to effectively assist and advise customers.
Please note this is a 12-month opportunity.
You'll be great in this role if you have:
The ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively prioritise.
You will have strong commercial influencing and stakeholder management skills
Proven experience in negotiating in a competitive environment.
You will possess excellent people skills and proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues, business partners and customers.
Sound knowledge of fares and ticketing and/or revenue management principles
As an experienced leader, you will have the ability to coach develop and support internal stakeholders to achieve company objectives and foster a culture of continuous learning and development
