About the Role: As a Senior Business Development Rep, you will be the driving force behind our growth, building relationships, converting them into high value marketing retainers and contracts. You will work closely with our client-facing teams to ensure a sustainable pipeline of new customers and a smooth handover process for new clients.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively contact potential clients to promote our offerings and generate new sales leads. Collaborate with peers, team members, and key stakeholders to identify and qualify leads. Conducting strategy/discovery meetings, providing deep expertise to prospects, and leading them toward a win-win partnership. Manage inbound/outbound customer sales, exploring sales opportunities and responding to queries to ensure positive customer experiences. Contribute to building out business development processes across the organization. Produce accurate, timely, and complete pipelines, forecasts, and reports as required. Achieve and exceed revenue and sales objectives. About You: You have experience working at a large agency with corporate clientele and have deep experience with selling high value marketing contracts ($200k-$500k/yr) A highly ambitious business development professional with strong business acumen. A motivated self-starter who thrives on autonomy and has a proven track record in BD. Naturally curious about businesses and comfortable speaking to entrepreneurs, business owners, and decision-makers. Communicating to marketing managers, CMOs, and CEOs, Directors, Boards. Deep knowledge in the marketing industry, both traditional and digital. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and compellingly. A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of experience in selling high value marketing packages to businesses Outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. An understanding of the social media marketing, creative, and digital agency landscape in Australia. Exceptional analytics, project management skills, writing, and organisational skills. Ability to effectively manage and implement sales pipeline forecasting and product sales targets. Presentation capabilities and comfort meeting with clients in person and via phone/zoom.
