This global organisation is a leading manufacturer of portable mobile radio and wireless communications technology. They have been operation for decades and they have been the trusted brand for land mobile radio, two-way radio and remote site connectivity technology across many environments throughout this time.
They have evolved to become a total integrator of wireless communications infrastructure and as such they take on projects that involve the deployment and delivery of a range of wireless comms solutions, covering IOT, edge computing, telematics, as well as other hardware to ensure non redundant communications across voice, data and machine to machine technology for the most remote/rugged environments.
The markets they deliver these projects are largely within various levels of government (local, state and federal), mining and resources, construction, public transport and emergency services.
Position
The position of VIC Business Development Manager has now become available.
As the sole sales person for VIC, the position will see you taking over the complete management of all VIC key accounts. Within these accounts you will continue to manage all levels of stakeholders, and maximise on new project opportunities that arise.
You will also be responsible for strategically growing market share and uncovering opportunities through all verticals where the business can put forward a solution with either their own manufactured products, or through the integration of their expert communications engineering services.
On offer is a generous salary package of $120k - $140k + super + uncapped commissions.
Candidate
To be considered for the position, all candidates will need to have at least 5 + years of senior sales experience selling solutions within a related field of portable mobile radio, wireless communications technology, telematics, edge computing, or any other communications technology that is sold as a solution into mining, construction, or various levels of government.
You must be an excellent relationship manager, with a proven track record of being able to grow out accounts and maximise on existing relationships, as well as identify, target and win new project opportunities.
The role is a senior member of the sales team nationally and as such we are seeking candidates who have great leadership skills and long term career ambition.
