Business Development Manager - Valves and InstrumentationMy client has become one of Australia's leading completely owned and operated suppliers of specialised engineering flow control solution products. The company works across all areas of Australia as well as internationally and is continuing to grow. The business provides major market sectors such as mining, petrochemical, power generation, oil and gas, and chemical with specialised engineered products from control valves, PSV's, safety release valves, pump solutions, and engineered instrumentation from both a manufacturer and distributor point of view.
The Role Due to impressive growth, a full-time permanent opportunity with genuine growth has become available for a technical Sales Engineer or enthusiastic BDM/Account Manager to join their QLD team. This role will initially have a strong focus on getting out on the road and developing new business across the Brisbane and Greater Brisbane region and bringing the company's technical products and turnkey solutions to the market.
Working closely with the Sales Manager and QLD team, you will help bring their leading products into major industries such as mining, water and wastewater, power generation, and chemical (to name a few) and build strong relationships where you will account manage your large clients. This role is based out of Sydney but will require some travel as it will be primarily an external sales role.
About You Experience in a technical BDM sales role within valves, pumps, or instrumentationConfidence in your ability to generate new businessSound understanding of the technical aspects of valves and pumpsAble to provide a turnkey solutionAbility to travel when requiredMaturity to work independently and also as part of a teamOn Offer The company is open to looking at someone a little junior who is looking to advance their career or someone who is more senior in experience and can hit the ground running. As a result, they are open to discussing the salary package for the right person.
