Business Development Manager - Tourism, Events and RetailPermanent Opportunity$113,927 - $122,280 plus 15.4% superannuation.Flexible Work ArrangementsMust be an Australian CitizenAbout the roleMy client is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive the commercial growth of this iconic tourism destination. This will be achieved through strategic management of retail operations, venue services, tourism services and external sales.About youYou'll play a crucial role as a driver of commercial growth and engagement initiatives. Taking a lead role in shaping the revenue growth trajectory and commercial sustainability, the role oversees strategic initiatives to drive business development, optimise existing commercial operations, and identify new revenue streams including across digital and e-commerce platforms.You'll excel in fostering and growing relationships and partnering for success.Your previous experience in multi-faceted operations like galleries, museums, entertainment precincts, resorts and the hospitality, tourism, events and retail sectors will be advantageous.The ideal candidate will have:Enthusiasm, creativity, drive and a passion for the work5+ years' experience in a similar roleQualifications in Retail, Business Management, Commerce, Accounting, Marketing or a related field.Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business development strategies, project planning and management of initiatives that drive revenue growth and expand market presence.Demonstrated experience in optimising commercial operations and identifying new revenue streams, including through digital and e-commerce platforms.Strong analytical skills, including the ability to monitor key performance metrics, analyse financial data, market data, customer feedback and translate insights into actionable strategies.Excellent stakeholder management skills, including negotiation, influence, and persuasion skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across diverse audiences.Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to addressing challenges.BenefitsPermanent OpportunitySupportive and collaborative teamHow to applyTo be eligible it is essential that applicants holdAustralian CitizenshipA current Police ClearanceSuitable applicants will be presented to the client as they become available.Apply today to secure introduction.If this role is of interest to you, APPLY NOW, with your current resume in MS Word format along with an expression of interest.
