We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, who is passionate and knowledgeable within the renewable energy industry.
A candidate well connected to the B2B solar world and ready to take on this newly created role within our fast-growing business.You have spent years building relationships with key players, navigating through complex sales cycles, and successfully closing deals that have made a real impact.

You will be connecting with key decision-makers across the industry, handling everything from the initial engagement to tender submissions and pricing negotiations.
You will demonstrate and have a strong understanding of the intricacies of long sales cycles and know how to navigate through complex tenders, and you also love the thrill of bringing in those big wins.Prospecting & Networking:

Building and nurturing a database of high-value prospects across the renewable energy sector targeting the commercial sector.End-to-End Sales:

Handling the complete sales process from initial contact, tender submissions, right through to closing the sale.Client Engagement:

Developing strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring they choose Melbourne Energy Group for their next solar project.What We Are Looking ForYou are a well-established sales professional, someone who has been successful in the solar/renewables space for years.
Your expertise in navigating large-scale projects is second to none, and you've got a knack for using your network to open doors.
You thrive on autonomy, and you are ready to be part of a business where you'll have the freedom to shape your role and see the impact of your efforts.Proven Experience:

You have a solid track record in sales, business development, and managing large tenders in the solar or renewable energy industry.Network:

You are already connected with key players in the sector and can leverage your existing relationships to open new doors.Drive:

You are passionate about renewable energy, and you're excited by the opportunity to work somewhere where your voice and ideas can drive real change.Autonomy:

A highly competitive base salary of $130-150 K, negotiable on experience, plus uncapped commissions.
