We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our South Melbourne based Sales team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the State Residential Manager, this Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development and contribution of the residential builder execution plans (Merchant and Residential Builders) while hunting new business within the residential builders in Victoria.
Central to this position is the development of strong relationships, which are as crucial as sales acumen. Engaging with stakeholders at various levels within builder accounts, you will gain specifications (increased share of wallet), collaborate closely with merchant partners on pricing, and directly connect with builders to understand their needs and explore new business opportunities.
About you Along with 3-5 years of experience in a business development role, we are seeking a candidate who:
Demonstrates a strong background in fostering builder relationships within the residential sector.Is proficient in understanding, articulating, and appreciating current and future trends relevant to the building and construction industry.Ability to influence business leaders, customers, and merchants, to achieve improved commercial outcomes.Exhibits expertise in solution-focused selling techniques.Has a solid grasp of Excel along with the MS Office Suite.Is skilled in developing engaging presentations for stakeholders both internally and externally.What's on offer?
