Business Development Manager (Residential / Commercial / Renovations)ABOUT US: BODA Builders / BODA Building Group provides building & construction services, property maintenance, and building repair services to the residential and commercial sectors, with an in-house multi-trade team including bricklayers, floor & wall tilers, roofers, and carpenters around the Perth metropolitan area.
Currently, we are hiring for multiple positions with a positive can-do attitude for the following roles:
Business Development Manager - ResidentialBusiness Development Manager - CommercialBusiness Development Manager - Renovations & Fit-outsRole Responsibilities: As a Business Development Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving the company's growth and success. In this dynamic role, you'll uncover new market opportunities, forge valuable strategic partnerships, and craft innovative sales strategies. Working collaboratively with diverse teams across the organization, you'll ensure alignment with business goals and play a key part in executing growth initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Market Research: Uncover fresh market opportunities, stay ahead of industry trends, and analyze competitors to gain a competitive edge.Market Analysis: Dive into data to spot emerging trends and assess competitor activities, helping you pinpoint potential opportunities and mitigate risks.Lead Generation: Use your networking skills, innovative prospecting methods, tracking jobs from warm databases, and targeted outreach to generate high-quality leads.Client Acquisition: Build strong relationships with potential clients, delivering compelling pitches to close deals and expand the client base.Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring their loyalty and driving repeat business.Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other businesses to unlock new revenue streams and collaborative opportunities.Role Requirements: Related degree/qualification or equivalent experiencePrior experience in a BDM, Pre-Construction, Renovations, or Leadership role in a similar construction sectorA well-established network of clients/relationships within the sectorA proven track record of securing new tender opportunities on projects in related sectorsStrong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including operation and management teamsAbility to direct, motivate, mentor, lead, and bring out the best in the internal client relations teamEntrepreneurial spirit and business acumenResilience and organizational agilityStrong negotiation and critical analysis skillsIf you want a challenge and enjoy coming to work, then this is your chance to become part of our dedicated team of professionals.
