Uniquely tailoring the design, supply, installation/project management, integration and servicing of turnkey technical processing automation solutions, some of the key market segments include baked goods, sauces & condiments, pet food, cheese and meat, poultry & seafood.
Performing with high autonomy, this rewarding career position will report to the National Sales Manager.
Specific key responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets for the complete range of equipment.Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitor activities.Identify and pursue new sales leads and opportunities through various channels, including cold calls, referrals, and attending relevant industry events & tradeshows.Address any sales-related issues or challenges, finding solutions to overcome obstacles and meet sales goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Maintain a current in-depth understanding of the machinery product line to effectively communicate its features and benefits to customers.Remain up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques.Prepare quotations using templates and guidelines.Use, update and maintain the current CRM system to track quotes and communication with customers.Enhance strategic partnership relationships with key international OEM partners and principals.Prepare monthly planned activities in consultation with the National Sales Manager and Director.Key critical personality and general competency traits supporting your success in this position include:
Professional presentation supported by solid self-confidence, solutions focus and sound communication skills.A high level of professional tenacity, commercial nous, resilience & self-motivation.A strong attention to detail, a logical & process driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills and an engaging team style is expected.You are holistically enthusiastic, hands on and results and deadline driven.You will also demonstrate an inquisitive mindset towards food manufacturing processes whilst playing a key part in driving customer success and forging long-term customer relationships.You will also have the innate ability and mental rigor to confidently negotiate long lead times from initial consulting and providing tailored advice to final product commissioning.You will be competent in accurately assessing and recommending consultative product & service solutions in high volume and time critical production environments.Tertiary (Engineering, Sales or Business) or Trade Qualifications are desirable.
General competency with MS Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required.
Ideally, you will demonstrate impressive sales success and technical competence within either food & beverage capital equipment, raw materials handling, perishable or hygienic product manufacturing, process or industrial automation or packaging applications. You will possess a full & current driver's licence.
