As a part of our close-knit and driven team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of the fishing industry in Australia.About the Role:We are seeking a Business Development Manager with strong market connections and product understanding to drive growth of our platform. This role combines business development with product insight to expand our market presence and enhance user engagement.The ideal candidate will have established networks within the commercial fishing industry or similar regulated markets, combined with the ability to understand and communicate our platform's technical capabilities to stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Drive business growth through new client acquisition and relationship managementDevelop and execute strategies to increase market penetration and transaction volumeBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the fishing industryProvide market insights to inform product development and feature enhancementsWork collaboratively with the technical team to ensure product features align with market needsContribute to customer success initiatives and platform adoption strategiesRepresent BeachPrice at industry events and forumsRequired Skills and Experience:Proven Business Development Experience: 3+ years of successful BD or sales experience, preferably in regulated industries or digital platformsNetwork and Relationships: Established connections in commercial fishing or similar regulated industriesTechnical Understanding: Ability to grasp and communicate technical product features effectivelyCustomer-Centric Approach: Strong focus on customer success and relationship buildingMarket Knowledge: Understanding of marketplace dynamics and digital platformsCommunication Skills: Excellent presentation and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience with online marketplaces or trading platformsUnderstanding of the fishing industry or similar regulated marketsBackground in product management or customer successExperience in B2B relationship managementJoin us and play a pivotal role in transforming the future of the fishing industry through strong market relationships and innovative solutions.
