Business Development Manager - Northern Region

My client is a leader in the supply of industrial and agricultural bulk packaging solutions to the Australian market. They are seeking a talented Business Development Manager for their northern region that includes Queensland and Northern NSW to drive this successful business forward.About you:

Proven track record of success in sales development or related roles within an industrial B2B or agricultural environment, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.Wanting to be based in Brisbane office or working from home if already located in a rural area of Qld and Northern NSW.Previous experience in industrial packaging or bulk cargo industries highly valued.Commercial / business qualifications preferred but not essential.Self-motivated, persistent and ability to work alone or team as required.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate effectively with clients.Data driven, results oriented, customer focused.What you will do:

Lead Generation: Spearhead the identification and targeting of potential clients.Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively by qualifying leads, tracking progress and prioritising opportunities to ensure timely follow-up and conversion.Teamwork: Work collaboratively with Sales Managers to ensure alignment in marketplace and with sales and logistics regarding product development, forecasting and supply strategy.Strategy Development: Collaborate with the other functions to develop comprehensive sales development strategies that align with company objectives, leveraging market insights and industry trends to drive growth.Performance Analysis: Monitor sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize results.Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with potential clients, industry partners and key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility, foster trust and facilitate long-term business partnerships.Market Research: Stay abreast of market developments, competitor activities and customer needs to identify emerging opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.The Rewards:
