We are currently seeking an energetic, customer-focused Business Development Manager - Mining to join our team in Perth. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of UGL's growing Mining sector, based in Western Australia.
Your Role: As the Business Development Manager – Mining , you will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding UGL's Mining customer base across Western Australia. Your key responsibilities will include:
Building and nurturing strong relationships with key Mining clients, including Rio Tinto, BHP, and FMG Developing strategic account plans to achieve sales and financial forecasts Leading strategic tenders and driving business development initiatives Supporting UGL's OHV Unit Exchange (UTEX) program, focusing on growing our WA presence Reporting on sales performance, ensuring continuous improvement and growth About You: You are a passionate Business Development or Account Management professional with a strong background in Mining, Civil Infrastructure, or Construction. Your ability to communicate effectively, think strategically, and build long-term relationships makes you a standout candidate.
Other key skills and experience include:
Proven track record in driving sales growth and sector expansion Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of heavy mobile equipment (Komatsu fleet) and maintenance practices is desirable.
