First Table, a leader in tech innovation within the hospitality sector on a global scale, is on the lookout for a vibrant Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne. With our eyes set on breaking new ground in exciting markets, we require a strategic pioneer to help steer our growth journey. This role is a Work-from-home position but will require face-to-face interaction with restaurants multiple days per week.

ResponsibilitiesImplement a sales strategy for Melbourne that aligns with the company's objectives.Forge long-lasting relationships with restaurants in Melbourne.Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends and competitors, using this knowledge to identify new opportunities.Drive user acquisition and retention strategies.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.QualificationsExcellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Familiarity with the hospitality industry is a massive plus, and your ability to hit the ground running with existing contacts will push you to the top of the queue for this position.Whilst years of sales experience are not required for the role, you must demonstrate the skills and enthusiasm to become a successful BDM.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who will flourish in an autonomous environment.In return First Table offers40 hours per week (full-time).Competitive OTE (base salary + commissions).Work from home with regular face-to-face restaurant prospecting.Employment at an award-winning global company.The opportunity to be part of a team that is talented and passionate about what they do.Opportunities for internal and external professional development.Great company culture.
