YOUR OPPORTUNITY Due to our amazing growth in the past 12 months, we have a new role for a Business Development Manager to join our team based in Mackay. We're looking for someone who loves getting out on the road and interacting with clients face to face. In this challenging and rewarding role, industry experience and technical knowledge will set you up with an immediate advantage. However what's most important is your ability to connect with our customers, and provide them with the level of service we pride ourselves on.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting a customer portfolio from industries such as Mining, Engineering, Transport, Marine, Energy, and Construction sectors Regular visits to customers sites to identify their needs and develop technically tailored solutions Seeking and developing opportunities in the area for growth Develop and nurture key customer relationships though providing expert advice Achieve budgeted sales and trading margin contribution targets through planning, forecasting and anticipating customer needs You will be 100% committed to personal and business safety You will be customer and solutions focused to support ourCustomer First philosophy. To be successful in this role we are looking for:
Previous experience in an Account Management, Sales or Business Development role, with a passion for solutions selling A technical understanding of lifting and rigging, testing and repairs – preferred but not essential, we have a great team who will build your knowledge and capability!
