The Role
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to manage the client experience across all aspects of their supply chain. In this role, you will own the strategic direction for our clients, build long-term relationships, and identify opportunities for mutual growth. You will work closely with our Business Development and Sales teams to onboard new clients and tailor our service offerings to meet their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and achieve sales targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
Collaborate with sales and operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Analyse client account performance and provide management reports, including forecasts.
Identify unique selling propositions and market differentiators to enhance our service offerings.
Ensure effective onboarding of new clients and maintain high-quality communication regarding bookings and changes.
Comply with health and safety policies and actively support the organization's EH&S goals.
About You:
At least 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the logistics or supply chain industry.
Strong understanding of logistics products, services, and market trends.
Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems for reporting and analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and improve financial performance.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrates integrity, collaboration, and a customer-first mindset.
