Our company specialises in resource recycling, landfills, waste treatment, quarry operations, and transport and logistics, with operations across NSW, ACT, Victoria and Queensland.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving growth and expanding market presence for the group.
This position requires a strategic individual with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals.
The Business Development Manager will lead initiatives to acquire new customers, develop strategic partnerships, and investigate new markets to achieve revenue targets and the wider group's objectives.
The position is based at our Prestons Head Office, NSW.
Principal AccountabilitiesCustomer Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Prospect and engage with potential customers through different channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers.
Understand client needs, pain points, and objectives to tailor solutions and value proposition.Sales Pipeline Management and Forecasting:
Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely follow-up and progress tracking.
Utilise CRM system (Salesforce.com) to maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and forecasts.
Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and market insights to senior management.Proposal Development and Presentation:
Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and tenders to articulate the group's offerings and value proposition.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, transport, and operations, to develop integrated solutions for potential customers.Partnership Development and Strategic Alliances:
Identify strategic partners and potential alliances to expand market reach and enhance service offerings.
Negotiate partnership agreements and develop mutually beneficial relationships to drive business growth.
Leverage partnerships to access new markets and customer segments.Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Analyse market segments and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
