$110,000 – $150,000 per year + Car + Super + Comms
A seasoned Business Development Manager (BDM) or a KAM wanting to take the next step into sales is sought to join an International Freight Forwarder in Brisbane.
Join a multinational Freight Forwarder and Logistics Services provider with a global presence or an Australian-owned International Forwarder.Choose between a large corporate environment and a smaller growing business!ABOUT THE ROLE: The Business Development Manager is responsible for originating new client relationships while renewing and growing existing clients, and driving partnership discussions. Key areas also include building a dynamic set of growth opportunities through new business and identifying leads. Driving revenue and maintaining a high level of customer service focus is paramount in this role.
The team has autonomy to do what needs to be done and are supported through communication and experience. The business is developing a culture of high customer service, driven by our ongoing commitment to the training of staff and providing an environment in which the company can retain and empower employees further in their own career development.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Build a dynamic set of growth opportunities through new business development and identifying leadsGenerate revenue across existing accountsDiligently responsible for planning and managing direct sales activities to prospect and attain new accounts and develop a weekly, monthly, and yearly pipeline (minimum 15 client visits per week)Identify market trends and translate insights into actionable plansAchieve sales targets, set KPIs, and negotiate customer contractsWillingness to challenge the status quo, explore new avenues, and present creative solutionsMonthly reporting on the pipeline to the Sales DirectorAchieve monthly and yearly targets and KPIs setABOUT YOU: Demonstrated experience of building market and industry relationshipsHigh-level communication skillsDemonstrated experience with selling FCL and air freight solutionsCurrently employed in a Business Development capacity within the International Freight Forwarding Sector or similarKAMs looking to take the next step will be considered for one of the rolesProven ability to negotiateExperience with design and implementation of business development strategyAbility to self-motivate and motivate a teamExperience working to and exceeding targetsWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Competitive salary and commission structureDynamic work environment with excellent support from management and team membersHybrid role - work from home optionsFree onsite parkingDiversity & InclusionMajor Brand DiscountsEnvironmental SustainabilityNovated LeasingAnnual Leave LoadingDiscounted insurance feesIf you have a can-do attitude, a confidence to gain new business and a genuine passion for success then apply today!
