Business Development Manager - Industrial Services Our client is an established provider of Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial Automation services to manufacturing sites throughout NSW.
At this time we are seeking a Business Development Manager to sell a variety of Technical Service offerings including machine installations, line relocations, preventative maintenance, breakdown responses, and electrical and automation services such as design, programming, and optimisation of electrical and control systems.
Our ideal candidate will have experience selling industrial automation services or machinery solutions into the target markets. Alternatively, you could be an existing or former Service Technician who has sold such services as part of your current or former employment. Most importantly, you will possess the passion and drive to get going from day one in a growth industry.
On a daily basis, your duties will include but not be limited to:
Prospecting and winning new business opportunities Developing the company's profile and services into new business sectors Maintaining regular call cycles and social media interactions with prospective and existing clients Promoting a full range of services to a diverse client base Preparation and presentation of formal quotations and tender documents In order to succeed in this role, you should be able to demonstrate most or all of the following selection criteria:
Previous experience promoting and selling technical solutions into industrial manufacturers is essential Exposure to the FMCG sector would be highly regarded Ability to develop and lead sales strategies for new products and markets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to travel locally and interstate as required On offer is a solid base salary negotiable on experience along with a company car or car allowance and potential commissions.
