We currently have an opportunity for a new Business Development Manager to join our Victorian team. Our goal is to attract the candidate that will become an integral part of our team and drive business growth through new and existing customers in Victoria and Tasmania. This candidate will possess ambition and is not afraid of hard work to progress their career.
Experience in the Plumbing/Building Industry, understanding of the sales process, and industry/market knowledge from previous roles would be a great advantage.
After an initial training period learning our sales systems, products, and processes, you will be provided with a specific territory to call on where you will meet and support our customer base around VIC/TAS. This role is imperative to the success of the state, as it's often the first point of contact for our customers.
You must be motivated, punctual, reliable, and have a strong can-do work ethic, with the ability to communicate with all - from the worksite to the boardroom. Pleasing our customers and supporting all of our team is number 1.
Experience in the plumbing or building industry would be preferred but not essential, and a HAPPY SMILE always helps. You will be joining a strong sales team and a great company culture - we show great respect and encourage participation and ideas from all staff.
Job tasks and responsibilities Reporting directly to the Victorian state manager and working closely with the head office sales team.Build and maintain long-term relationships with industry stakeholders, including architects, plumbing/hardware merchants, plumbing contractors, and builders in both Victoria and Tasmania.Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase sales, focusing on target segments.Collaborate with product development to ensure feedback from the market is incorporated into product improvements.Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the product line, including technical specifications, design elements, and applications.Maintain regular follow-up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and secure repeat business.Track all client interactions, sales activities, and deal progress in CRM software.NO AGENCIES
