With innovative, market-leading products in the energy solutions space, this role is ideal for a motivated sales professional ready to drive growth.Open to base location for this role, ideally with regular visits to Lawson, NSW.Key Responsibilities Summary:Drive growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, partnerships, and tenders in the utilities sector.Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet revenue targets.Build and leverage industry networks to engage decision-makers and secure new opportunities.Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand visibility and leadership.Collaborate with internal teams (GM, Innovations, Technology, Project Management) to align solutions with market needs and ensure seamless delivery.Prepare and present tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and address customer requirements.Conduct market research to monitor trends, competitors, and customer needs.Act as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring excellent service and issue resolution.Explore emerging sectors like community batteries and SAPS for growth opportunities.Handle lead generation, discovery meetings, inbound inquiries, quotes, and follow-ups.Execute quarterly marketing strategies and facilitate customer onboarding.Maintain accurate CRM data and adhere to established sales processes for superior customer experiences.What you'll need to succeedTo achieve our ambitious goals, we need an "A" player with:Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the utilities and energy storage sector (Distributed Network Systems (DNS)).A Strong Network: Established connections within the industry to open doors and create opportunities.Proven Expertise: Ability to demonstrate industry-specific knowledge and offer strategic insights during key conversations.Alignment with Our Values: A collaborative, customer-focused approach that reflects the way we do business.Sales Expertise: Exceptional rapport-building skills and a consultative selling style.
