They span across the east coast of Australia with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane – with Sydney being their Head Office.What do they do? Well in a nutshell they work with their clients to build prototypes, products, and solutions that have a huge impact on the daily lives of consumers. This can be anything from electronics, hardware, software, manufacturing, web apps – the sky is the limit! So this is not a consulting role; this is a company/role where products are designed in-house while still interacting with clients on a regular basis.As a Business Development Manager, you'll focus on identifying business opportunities and securing clients to develop innovative products from concept to production. Key responsibilities include understanding customer needs, providing accurate estimates, and delivering detailed technical proposals. Your role will impact the company's market presence, and you'll collaborate with experts to drive team success.Responsibilities:Apply your relevant experience in design and manufacturing to bring on new business leads.Be the face of the company - meet with clients and discuss the company's services and value offering.Close deals and ensure company revenue goals are met.Put together sales proposals.Execute sales and marketing initiatives by creating content and managing various marketing channels.Identify sales opportunities.Prepare monthly sales reports and provide updates on sales progress.Requirements:Be an Australian Citizen or PR.Have a strong understanding of electronics design processes.Have worked around hardware and software previously.Experience in the consulting world.Have experience with B2B sales and be able to negotiate.Be able to follow a marketing strategy.Have great presentation skills, be confident and personable!Most importantly in this role is enthusiasm and attitude towards quality software engineering and the ability to promote and sell the company's product design and engineering services.
