This role is for a Sales / Business Development Manager to focus on the growth of Supplier and Pharmacy accounts.The successful candidate will need a combination of an entrepreneurial / start-up mindset and the ability to connect, engage and bring on board the many different parties which are part of the Australian pharmacy ecosystem.The ideal candidate will be great at sales, goal-oriented, and care deeply for customer outcomes by identifying the needs of local and global brands and collaboratively working with our team internally to deliver on their requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Expansion and Account ManagementIdentify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on supplier and pharmacy accounts.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Australian pharmacy ecosystem, including local and global brands.Convert leads and prospects into new commercial agreements.Sales Planning, Execution and ReviewDevelop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.Lead sales presentations and negotiations with prospective clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and PharmX's value proposition.Secure agreements with new suppliers to any of the modules currently offered by PharmX in the market or sell future modules ahead of release.Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded.Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan in line with PharmX's strategic objectives.Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to the General Manager and other senior leadership.Identify and mitigate risks associated with new business opportunities and market changes.Collaboration and Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to address any issues, concerns, or feedback.Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote PharmX's offerings and build industry connections.Innovation and Continuous ImprovementStay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurial thinking within the team, encouraging creative solutions to business challenges.Leadership and Team DevelopmentMentor and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Lead by example, demonstrating strong ethical standards, professionalism, and commitment to PharmX's mission and values.Qualifications and SkillsDemonstrated experience in driving commercial outcomes.Ability to handle complex situations and to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.Proven track record of developing and implementing effective sales strategies.Advanced negotiation skills and ability to close deals decisively.Understanding of the pharmacy and healthcare industry in Australia is preferable.Ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and customer support teams.Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Australian pharmacy ecosystem, including local and global brands.Ability to develop and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with strategic objectives.Proficiency in Sales Management CRMs.Strong experience in B2B sales.3+ years of experience in sales roles within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or technology sectors.Tertiary education is desirable but not required.What We Offer:A chance to be part of an ASX listed company that's transforming the pharmacy and pharmaceutical industry.A collaborative and supportive work environment where innovation and creativity are encouraged.Competitive compensation package, including equity options.Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.Professional development and career growth opportunities.
