The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a high-performing client-facing senior executive that has a wide array of decision maker relationships in the mid to large corporate environment, where he/she can forward our services which focus on providing integrated marketing solutions as unique service propositions and formulate ideas for marketing teams to meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
Role & Responsibilities:As a BDM you will be responsible for (these duties and responsibilities are subject to amendment by the Company from time to time):
Achieve annual sales targets by successfully identifying new client opportunities and formulating innovative ways to solicit our services to them;Identify existing customer opportunities from internal and external customer lists and work to grow the size of the marketing revenue wallet by upselling and cross selling our diverse range of services to them;Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs;Create sales strategies to develop and strengthen the Company's sales funnel;Prepare and present presentations to prospective customers and where required work with the technology, digital transformation services, creative services, and project management office teams to implement tests, prototypes, and concepts quickly;Intimate the project management office and/or digital transformation services on briefs and requirements for new customer work orders;Manage existing customer relationships within your customer portfolio by continuous engagement and reporting;Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.RequirementsA bachelor's degree in marketing, business, commerce, design or related field will be seen as a benefit.A BDM is a blend between a charismatic, analytical and creative person who strives to solve marketing problems for customers and has great interpersonal and communication skills to influence customer decision making.Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.Passionate about new business with a proven record of achieving and exceeding set targets.High levels of enthusiasm, resilience and the drive to meet and exceed desired outcomes.Energetic and proactive with the ability to work autonomously.Ability to anticipate and understand clients' needs and key drivers and coordinate resources to achieve sales and organisational goals.Highly ethical, capable and responsible attitude.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all types of internal and external clients.
