About the role Central Real Capital is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The BDM will be identifying, acquiring, and managing a portfolio of finance brokers specialising in commercial finance. They will work closely with brokers, lenders, and internal stakeholders to originate and settle new market opportunities in an end-to-end process.
Key responsibilities Maintaining and growing a successful mortgage broker network. Completing portfolio data analysis and management. Originate and settle new market opportunities in an end-to-end process. Assess and recommend commercial mortgage loan applications in the range of $1m - $10m. Review property valuations. Identifying and managing credit risk during origination and ensuring all credit policies and guidelines are maintained and applied to appropriate decisions. Working with the credit team & in-house General Counsel for loan settlements. Monitor and analyse growth, sales, and service for the portfolio and implement strategy where required. Skills & Experience required Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the financial services industry, focusing on commercial/asset finance. A deep understanding of the private loan market, including best practices knowledge of lending products, credit assessment processes, and regulatory requirements. An established network of finance brokers and/or lenders in the finance sector is required. Strong sales, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications, CRM systems, and other sales-related tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
