Primarily focussed on Specialist Disability Accommodation funded through the NDIS, ILV has grown since inception to now servicing almost 100 residents.
Whilst seeking growth, ILV is heavily invested in outcomes for its residents ensuring they are happy in their home, happy with ILV and happy with their SIL provider.
ILV has a small, high performing, resident focussed team and is looking for a Business Development Manager to join them based out of Parramatta.About the RoleThe Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the CEO in achieving strategic growth for ILV.
This is a 360 degree BDM role with responsibility for growth of the property portfolio, building and extending relationships with Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers and attracting new residents to our properties.
This isn't a growth at all costs role, this role is delivering the right growth at the right time for ILV.
This role is initially offered as a 2 year contract with strong potential for extension.Key responsibilities include:Being the first and primary point of contact for investors and property developersGuiding investors and developers through the process of developing disability housing and closing deals for ILVRegularly engaging with SIL providers and internal experts to understand market drivers and what is needed whereBuilding relationships with existing and new investors, property developers and buildersBuilding relationships with new SIL providers and working with existing SIL providers to expand their reach across ILV's portfolioIn conjunction with other colleagues, attracting new residents to ILV propertiesAssessing and triaging investors and property development opportunities for ILV to ensure they are the right fitWith the support of the CEO, finalising documentation, to close the deal with the investorProviding regular reports to CEO and wider team on market insights and business development activitiesRepresenting ILV at exhibitions and other networking eventsGeneral administration including record keeping, updating databases and providing regular reportsAbout YouThe right person for this role will have a solid background in sales and business development, ideally in the NFP or for purpose sector.
An understanding of the NDIS and property transactions will be highly regarded.
You will be a strategic thinker, able to absorb information quickly and be a confident and capable negotiator.
You understand how to deliver the right growth, not just any growth.To be successful as the Business Development Manager, you will:Have excellent communication and time management skills and high attention to detailBe enthusiastic, creative and think outside the box, you will be a problem solverYou will have demonstrated experience building effective relationships with clients and other stakeholdersYou will have the ability to work well with others but want to own the role and make it yoursYou will be people focussed, putting people at the centre of all that you doHave solid administration skills, keeping good records and able to juggle many moving partsHave previous experience in community services, disability and/or aged carePossess relevant education and qualificationsHave an understanding of property transactionsThis role is full time employed under the SCHADS award, based out of Parramatta but offering flexibility to work from home on a regular basis.
You will be required to travel to our properties and new developments, currently spread throughout metro Sydney, on a regular basis.
