The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in increasing sales growth and client satisfaction for Zenith. You will develop and maintain professional and strong working relationships with our existing clients and be proficient in generating leads and market to our prospect database.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Achieve personal and business budget outcomes, including new sales initiation and conversion, plus client retention for Zenith, Chant West, and FE fundinfo's range of managed accounts and consulting solutions, investment and super research, and relevant digital tools Develop and maintain a strong reputation in our target client segments, with relevant industry knowledge and strengthening long-term strategic relationships Initiate and implement sales ideas and plans, including reporting on progress via -day planning Play an active role in executing agreed client sales and marketing campaigns Actively maintain client database (CRM) to ensure rich and current client data is available for all sales and marketing activity Provide relevant market insight and knowledge to our product and service development program To join us you will need the following experience and skills: You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development manager role, with strong knowledge in investment management, managed account delivery, managed fund research, super and/or investment consulting – preferably in the retail wealth adviser segment You must have knowledge of financial planning processes, particularly client segmentation and transition You will demonstrate a broad, current, and credible adviser relationship network (dealer principals/advisers) as well as platforms and paraplanning groups You will ideally have a strong reputation as a team player with demonstrable client relationship management skills and proven sales results You will have strong experience in sales planning and execution across all levels of clients, including developing client collaboration initiatives, presentation delivery, and price negotiation By joining the team, you will be offered the following: A role that is varied in its responsibilities and welcomes initiative and collaboration with other motivated and experienced professionals The opportunity to make your mark on the success of a fast-paced entrepreneurial company that is growing rapidly internationally A pleasant, ambitious and professional working climate with good opportunities for further development A culture that is about continuous learning and development to ensure that we retain our brand integrity within the global fund industry Commitment to foster an environment that welcomes individual perspectives, backgrounds, and life experiences Eligibility of discretionary bonus and commission 4 days study leave per annum $4,000 p.a. study allowance paid for successful completion of approved courses (in accordance with Continuing Professional Education policy) A range of wellbeing offerings and discounts on everyday spending Flexible work options under our Versatile Work Practices Your next steps: Investment research, financial planning, fund administration platform or funds management BDMs, this is the role for you!We are always looking for committed and energetic individuals to be a part of the team and if you're looking for a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment and would like to be part Zenith's rapid growth, apply now!
