Business Development Manager

Our client is a leading business information platform providing news, insights, data, and solutions across a wide range of industries. They are looking for a Business Development Manager in Australia that will be focused on new business B2B sales within the consumer space (F&B, FMCG etc). The role would be based in their Sydney office focused on growing relationships through phone-based and face-to-face sales.
Key Responsibilities:Engaging with C-level executives to drive new business growth across APACProspecting and meeting with potential clientsResearching and analysing industry trends and developments within the Consumer Goods spaceRunning demos of the products to prospectsMaintaining records on the CRM, tracking sales goals and reporting weekly resultsWorking with the Product Development team to maximise product offeringKeeping track of revenue targets and identifying gaps in forecast and how to improve salesRequirements:2-5+ years of sales experience within a solutions-based role; B2B media, business information, SAAS or a subscriptions service would be most suitableAn interest in or experience within the FMCG and consumer space is preferredFace-to-face sales experienceHunter mentality is essentialConfident personality and excellent communication skillsAbility to hit KPIsObjection handling experienceExcellent client-facing and interpersonal skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
