We have a newly created role for an outstanding Business Development Manager with a proven history of success.
We are looking for a curious, entrepreneurial minded individual with a hunter mentality.
Who we are Bathrooms by Design is a family owned and operated business with over 20 years experience in the bathroom industry.
As experts in design, we are now one of South Australia's leading bathroom renovation specialists.
We are pioneers in the bathroom renovation market with our in-house Design – Manage – Construct system that has been developed to suit all types of renovators from the most experienced through to the more novice renovator, our process caters for all.
About the role The BDM will be responsible for initiating, creating, and developing the SME builder's sale channel.
This is a newly created role which will require an entrepreneurial mindset and an individual who enjoys a challenge.
The BDM will collaborate with senior leaders in planning the best approach to win over (switch) customers from competitors.
The primary objective of this role, within a twelve-month period, is to have a functioning sales pipeline with regular monthly sales revenue reflecting business objectives.
As with other business units at Bathrooms by Design, customer satisfaction is our number guiding principle.
Being a role model for the sales team by displaying an elevated level of professionalism and leadership.
Job Description The development of the small to medium builder's sale channel.
This will involve winning over customers, creating a sound customer database, and driving sales.
Achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPI's that will be focused on database growth, and net sales.The selection and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) / Sales software program.
This has the possibility to be rolled out to sales teams in store.Seeking out new customers and complimentary sales channels.
The ability to understand customer requirements and translate that into an ongoing relationship is paramount to success in this position.This role will involve collaborating with sales team members to ensure sales orders are processed / delivered accurately, efficiently, and timely.Interpret and communicate financial sales information both qualitative and quantitative to senior management, including producing high quality progress reports.Role model a high degree of professionalism with a servant leadership style, who adheres to best practice and continuous improvement.Respond to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.At times, the business may require assistance in store with the day-to-day activities.You will be responsible for Development and growth of a newly created sales channel, which requires signing new accounts and the sales revenue from these accounts.Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with account holders.Implementation and integration of a new CRM system.What makes you stand out from the crowd? Equivalent experience (3-5 years) gained in a similar position.Qualifications in business management, marketing or similar are desirable.While not essential, industry experience is desirable.A successful record of planning, setting, and achieving business objectives including sales driven KPI's.The ability to develop a new sales channel with little frameworks and policies in place.
This role is aimed at an initiative-taker with an entrepreneurial mindset.Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
