ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Team. In this role you will be responsible for generating sponsorship, advertising, and hospitality revenue through identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. Other responsibilities will include:
Identifying, targeting and securing new clients to increase sales revenue and grow the partnership.
Analysing market trends to uncover sectors and industries for future sales pipelines.
Working with the wider team to implement promotional programs.
Nurturing relationships through hosting clients at Club events including match days.
Deliver a consistently high level of service to maximise customer satisfaction and repeat sales.
ABOUT YOU: To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in a business development or sponsorship role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Experience with CRM systems and maintaining data integrity.
A proactive approach to relationship building and client engagement.
Confidence and drive to hunt for new business opportunities whilst being proactive in chasing leads and referrals.
