What you'll do This is a field-based role, in which you'll be supported by an experienced team that includes cross-functional and lead generation support. As a Business Development Manager at CBS, you'll be held accountable to: Achieving your gross profit sales target and agreed-upon KPIs Prospecting to—and winning—new strategic business opportunities within our 'ideal customer' segment Managing your sales pipeline to quickly nurture prospects into new customers Creating, implementing, and executing sales plans Maintaining and demonstrating both a commercial and technical understanding of Microsoft products and services in a way that appeals to a broad customer audience Managing and delivering on sales activities—including prospecting, meetings, client qualifications, presentations, quoting, and proposal submission—in a timely, professional manner Who you are Your strong written, verbal, and presentation skills give you the gravitas and professionalism needed to collaborate directly with 'C-level' clients at nationally recognised organisations. Your past exposure to enterprise IT gives you a strong understanding of its sales cycles—but more importantly, your attitude and appetite to succeed drive you to delve deeply into this space in order to help clients optimise, automate, and transform their IT infrastructures.
