At Scotframe, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our busy sales team covering the North of Scotland.The role will see you focusing on generating sales and working closely with our customers on their timber frame self-build projects, from conception through to supply/delivery to site.Scotframe is part of Saint-Gobain, and is regarded as one of the leading timber frame kit manufacturers in the industry.We are looking at candidates based in or around Inverness, but would consider further for the right candidate.Travel is required for the role, so all candidates must have a driving license and be willing to travel to the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland as required.What we're looking for:Must have knowledge of timber frame construction or construction methods in generalSomeone with excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain technical aspects in terms customers can understandStrong focus on customer experience from start to finishYou will be proactive, and a results focussed individualWhat you will be doing:Proactively self-generate sales opportunities across our self-build customer baseVisiting customers, mainly based in the Scottish islesTaking briefs from customers from initial concept to final designProviding technical support to new and existing customersAre Scotframe and Saint-Gobain inclusive employers?Saint-Gobain is the worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction improving daily life through high-performance solutions.
