They provide breathing safety solutions into various industries including Healthcare, Mining, Manufacturing, Chemical, Demolition, Quarrying, Infrastructure, and Construction via Wholesalers and Distributors. This company is committed to maintaining the respiratory health of thousands of key workers in potentially dangerous industries.The PositionManaging a territory of Queensland, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for market development and account management of all customers within their territory. The focus will be on managing and growing the business within the Mining and Industrial sectors, utilising their own network to present the products as a must-have safety measure.Responsibilities include:Managing a portfolio of clients, mainly focused within the mining, heavy industry, and hazardous material marketsIdentifying and prospecting new business opportunitiesWorking with internal product managers to create bespoke solutions for clientsMeeting and reporting to senior management regarding salesThe PackageFor the right candidate, my client is willing to offer the following:A salary of up to $125k PA + Superannuation depending on industry experienceAn uncapped commission structure with OTE payments of $65k PAA car allowance of $24k paThe CandidateTo be considered for this role, it is essential that candidates have a good network of mining, industrial, and hazardous material companies. The role will also require regular travel to North Queensland, specifically the Bowen Basin region.Ideal candidates should have:A history of selling into mining companies - both on mine sites and in corporate officesA knowledge of Respiratory Safety Products or PPE productsThe ability to deal with C-Level decision makers and Mine Site ManagementOther desirable qualities include:Self-motivatedGood verbal and written communicationPersistent and driven approach to businessGood knowledge of both underground and surface mining operationsExperience in an autonomous business development roleA full and valid driver's licence - must haveIf you have the above criteria, apply below, or phone Ian on (07) 3172 2086 for more information.
