THE ROLE Based in North Queensland, you will be looking after North Queensland and its surrounding suburbs. You will be selling our client's range of wear-resistant materials to advanced piping and conveyor systems.
Your customer base would consist of 80% of the time Mining and the other 20% focusing on Sugar mills, Marine and Food & Beverage manufacturers.
Speaking with engineers, planners, and maintenance engineers daily. This role will have you using your market knowledge, and research to prospect new business 60% of the time and then 40% of your time managing and looking after the existing projects.
You will be working closely with the Sales Manager who will provide you full market and product training. THE CANDIDATE The Most Important Thing: is a Hunter mentality and sales experience within the industrial/mechanical space. Ideally, you have industrial/mining sales experience - i.e., selling to mine sites, and heavy industries manufacturing, food & beverage manufacturing. In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone enthusiastic, with a stable track record, eager to learn and has a proactive mindset. For the right candidate, our client is offering up to 110k Base + Super + Bonus + Car Allowance + Tolls, Fuel card + Super.
