Informed Design – Business Development Manager About us Informed Design are the experts in designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke retail displays and specialist point of sale (POS) systems.
We are a team of highly experienced industrial designers, craftspeople and project managers providing innovative, highly effective retail solutions for our clients that build brand awareness, drive customer traffic and increase sales at store level.
Our custom POS products and displays are strategically designed and crafted to boost sales activity and provide a maximum return on investment.
Informed Design operate across Australia, New Zealand and China and have experienced significant growth in recent years due to the long standing relationships with their clients and the attention to detail given to all aspects of the process.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious professional with a strong network to help increase market share, boost profits, and strengthen our brand reputation.
The opportunity As Business Development Manager, you will report directly to the Managing Director with your primary responsibility being to strengthen and grow the client base.
Responsibilities include: Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and client satisfaction, and incorporating industry trends.Conducting research to identify new markets and client needs.Building long-term relationships with new and existing clients.Arranging business meetings with prospective clients.Writing proposals for new clients.Promoting the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.Providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.Collaborating with sales and design teams to ensure business development strategies are executed.Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across multiple industries and markets.Increasing the client base through attending networking events, researching prospects, cold-calling potential customers, following up on incoming leads and generating leads for the sales team.About you The ideal candidate will have a wide network, with experience in the consumer electronics, beauty or home appliances industries being an advantage.
Skills and requirements include: Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or similar role.Proven sales track record.Experience in customer support is a plus.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).Communication and negotiation skills.Ability to build rapport.Time management and planning skills.Apply now!
