Here is what you can expect from this role:
Work closely with clients to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable solutionsIdentify new business opportunities by researching the needs of potential customersProactively identify and develop new business opportunities within allocated key accountsDevelop and maintain strong knowledge of the company's products & servicesParticipate and provide appropriate support in client presentations and proposal submissions to drive revenue growth opportunities for existing accountsEnsure all position-related data is inputted into the CRM systemCANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS: The successful candidate must have the drive and willingness to learn a new industry and products. You'll be required to align with most of these requirements:
Relevant industry-related qualification5+ years in project coordination/account managementExperience in the management of accounts for large business A&D clients, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and providing exceptional serviceExperience selling lighting products to architects and designers is (must have)Strong product and industry knowledgeStrong negotiation abilitiesSelf-motivated, energetic, and positive nature to deliver above-quota performanceStrong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skillsStrong organization, networking, and relationship skillsSales ability including strong negotiation skills and proven persuasive abilityAppreciation of the value/importance of designated accounts, coupled with the ability to balance the needs of the organization and the client's organizationTHE COMPANY: Our client is a national lighting business that has decades of strong relationships with commercial and retail clientele, providing interior and exterior lighting solutions to new/existing builds.
