About the roleDrive Growth and Shape the Future of Officeworks! As a dynamic Business Development Manager at Officeworks, you'll play a key role in driving growth by acquiring new Business to Business (B2B) customers.
You'll target high-value, complex businesses within your assigned region, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions that elevate both their operations and your success.
Your mission? To foster strong, lasting relationships across a diverse range of customer accounts – from office managers and procurement officers to senior executives at the C-suite level.
What you'll do: Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the development and execution of targeted acquisition strategies, identifying and securing high-potential new business opportunities within your portfolio.Master Negotiator: Take the lead in high-stakes negotiations, driving deals to a successful close with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
You'll be the catalyst for turning opportunities into long-term business partnerships.Ongoing Growth & Support: Post-acquisition, ensure the smooth integration and continual growth of newly onboarded businesses, delivering exceptional service that drives their success and fosters loyalty.Pipeline Excellence: Be relentless in your pursuit of measurable improvements across all stages of the sales pipeline.
You'll continually refine the volume, value, accuracy, and win rates of leads and opportunities, leveraging Salesforce to ensure a top-tier performance.About youYou thrive on building and maintaining deep relationships.
You have a knack for understanding complex customer needs and transforming them into tailored, win-win solutions.
Your ability to navigate negotiations, drive business forward, and deliver results will make you a true asset to Officeworks.
In addition, you will have:
5+ years in business development or field sales with a proven ability to forecast, manage, and grow sales pipelinesDeep understanding of the B2B landscapeExpert in Salesforce or similar CRM toolsSkilled in analyzing customer data to spot opportunitiesStrong track record in building, maintaining and continually improving the quality of a sales pipeline (eg volume, value, win rates and pipeline velocity)Strategic thinking and with strong commercial focus coupled with excellent negotiation and closing abilityOur cultureIt's all in a day's work when you're part of the Officeworks community – where you're not defined by who you are, but what you can do.
