Lumia Care is recruiting for a highly active, motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager.
This lead role will champion Sales and Business Development by actively seeking new business opportunities, tapping into leads generated by management and workforce coordinators, responding to appropriate tenders, managing a portfolio of existing clients, and working in collaboration with the team to steer the company toward exciting growth opportunities for the timely onboarding of new customers.
You will work as a trusted and integral team member reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with internal stakeholders and the wider team to ensure current and new clients' needs are met.
To be successful in the role, you must be able to: Drive measurable results that support the business.Implement an effective sales method that expands the company's current reach.Conduct industry research and develop an impressive sales and marketing campaign.Identify and pursue new business leads and progress them through the sales cycle.Utilize your existing experience and financial techniques to improve sales revenue.Introduce the business to new clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key account contacts and customer stakeholders.Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and potential partners to identify future opportunities.Work with the company's Social Media/Marketing Coordinator and contribute to the company's marketing plan.Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.Prepare regular reports on business development results.Provide continuous and constructive feedback to the General Manager.Pitch, train, and support the team, particularly client account managers.Be driven by successful outcomes.Your Attributes: Experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager.Experience and a broad network of contacts within the NSW Healthcare Sector or Residential Aged Care Sector.Strong expertise in developing and implementing business and sales growth techniques.Outstanding communication and collaborative interpersonal skills.A collaborative attitude and willingness to participate as a team member.Strong self-driven sense of achievement.Highly self-motivated and a team player.New business focused with enthusiasm for acquisition and growth potential.Perseverance and resilience.We welcome and encourage men, women, people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, and people from diverse backgrounds to apply.
