We're looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business acquisition within Melbourne/VIC and Adelaide/SA, through the effective selling of Magentus Practice Management solutions.
Working closely with the Head of Sales, the BDM will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing and nurturing customers through the pipeline and effectively demonstrating the value of Magentus products to our customers.

What about the role: Achieve sales and points targets for assigned state/regionManaging end to end sales cycle, from initial discovery through to close.Identify and generate new leads through effective prospecting methodsEffectively managing and maintaining an up-to-date pipeline in conjunction with Inside Sales Team.Articulating the value proposition of Magentus product offerings through Onsite/Virtual demonstrations with customers.Developing quarterly new business plans for designated state/region in conjunction with Head of Sales.Managing and retaining relationships with existing customers and certified advisorsUpskilling of sales knowledge, methodologies and objection handling as directed by Head of Sales.Effective and consistent follow-up with customers throughout the sales cycle.In conjunction with Inside Sales, nurture and progress prospects through the sales pipeline effectively and efficiently.Maintaining a value-based sales approach to ensure we add value to prospects and customers.Maintain and regularly upskill product and industry knowledge to ensure we can articulate the value proposition based on customers' specialty/identified pain points.What experience or qualifications do I need: Proven sales experience with new and existing businessSales experience in medical industry is desired but not essentialSoftware sales (SaaS) experience highly regardedAbility to encourage and motivate regional team to meet or exceed annual sales targetsHigh level of communication and presentation skillsAbility to negotiate and influence key stakeholdersMust have a current Australian drivers licenceMust have own transportOur values say a lot about us: People are at the heart of everything we do at Magentus — we work as one team to create a healthier society.
