Job Description Lead Generation and Sales: Meet targets for lead generation and potential client list development.Perform cold calls and lead generation activities to ensure revenue targets are met.Tender and secure new work in medium to large contracts, adhering to company policies and procedures. Financial Management:Manage all cost areas associated with the BDM role to meet budget expectations.Oversee corporate card expenses, travel and accommodation costs, phone costs, general expenses, and repairs and maintenance, ensuring alignment with company policies and budget. Revenue and Profitability:Generate additional revenue through new work and value additions at existing contracts.Achieve gross profit targets on builders cleans, value-added work, refurbishment work, and all new and re-won work. Client and Contract Management:Hold monthly meetings with clients and ensure high standards of service delivery.Assist the Operations Team to maintain work standards and ensure the re-winning of work under retender.Meet with Site Contract Managers during site visits to ensure consistent performance. Administration and Compliance:Ensure smooth transition of sites to the operational group, with all procedures, processes, insurances, and systems in place.Save all work onto the CMI server following the naming system.Assist the Operations Team in achieving zero OH&S incidents at all managed sites. The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record in business development and sales within the commercial cleaning or related industry.
They will possess strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
The candidate should be highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Experience in financial management and strategic planning is essential.
