Account & Relationship Management (Sales)About Us: Our company is a leading food processor and marketer providing superior quality macadamia products to food manufacturers, wholesale and retail customers spanning across five continents. We specialise in bulk food exports around the world.About the Role: Our company is seeking a high-performing candidate that has Business Development and Sales experience ideally in the food sector to help us develop existing and new business across defined regions and markets.You will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive second to none customer service and that the business maintains its reputation for reliability and quality. You will be tasked to develop new add value products into our established customer base and continue building on the successful sales account management platform that currently exists.The role will work closely with the Chief Sales Officer in the development of sales strategies for the given regions or accounts.Your duties will include:Prepare budgets and forecasts for your region.Manage account relationships and sales contracts.Establish business development plan for add value items in the portfolio.Secure new business with selected customers in various regions.Work closely with key internal stakeholders including QA, customer service, and production teams.Assist in the product development pipeline funnel for product innovation.Work with the quality and production team to resolve quality or specifications issues.Liaising with the customer service team to manage orders.Domestic and international travel as and when required.Attend trade shows and market visits as required.Qualifications and Experience:A recognised degree in business studies, sales, or marketing is preferred.Minimum five years of experience as a senior sales manager in the agri-business or food industries for the BDM role.Extensive networks with international and or domestic retail chain, food manufacturers would be highly regarded.Experience in food safety would be a plus.Personal Characteristics and Traits:Motivated and independent self-starter.Commercially astute and a natural negotiator and sales manager.Well presented with effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels.Demonstrated strong organisational ability.High attention to detail.Willingness to learn technical aspects of the products and its uses.Outstanding customer focus and service.Team player.The ability and desire for frequent international travel.If this sounds like an opportunity for you, we look forward to hearing from you.
