The company
Our client is a well-known and trusted national distributor of LV electrical consumables. You will be representing a genuine market leader that is highly regarded and widely used across Australia and internationally.
The position
Calling on electrical wholesalers and contractors, the aim of this role is to become the preferred supplier for all electrical consumables, whilst having products specified for projects across your region.

To achieve this, you will need to have existing relationships in these markets, along with strong sales skills and habits – planned with call cycles, a good awareness of upcoming projects in the region, ability to work autonomously, great communication skills and a desire to provide exceptional service.

Please note, some travel withing QLD will be required in this role.

Duties include: Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers (Contractors & Electrical Wholesalers) Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Actively seek new business with prospective clients. Promote the company's products/services addressing and predicting customers objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of a specific market/industry. Attend and contribute to conferences, meetings and industry events as required. Participate in new product training and work closely with Category Manager's. Skills & experience required: An electrical trade or engineering qualification is preferred, but not essential. Current industry relationships – electrical wholesalers and/or contractors. A proven track record of achieving sales budgets and targets. Experience using and maintaining CRM systems, such as Salesforce. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Benefits: Generous annual base salary plus superannuation.
