As part of the organisation's desire for ongoing growth and development, there is currently an exciting, newly created opportunity to join the team in the role of Business Development Manager.The roleReporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this senior role forms a key part of the organisation's Brisbane office and will work closely with the COO, CEO and broader team to identify leads, manage the sales pipeline and ultimately win ongoing packages of work.More specifically, you will be involved in the following:Leading business development activities through a range of ways including attending events, direct marketing and general networking;Booking and attending regular meetings with current and prospective clients to identify opportunities and understand customer needs;Educating prospective customers on the companies range of safety, cultural and leadership training programs, and aligned events;Preparing and contributing to the delivery of high-quality customer proposals;Customer follow ups and closing sales to ensure targets are achieved;Keeping up to date customer records through the organisation's CRM.About you5+ years' experience in a similar Business Development role, preferably within a similar professional services environment;Highly motivated sales professional with a proven ability to identify and convert new business;Well-developed relationship building skills, coupled with a consultative and solutions orientated sales styles;Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage at C-suite level with large tier one clients;Relevant networks within the Brisbane market, specifically with large corporate clients in industries such as mining, government, energy, utilities and construction would be an asset;Well developed IT and computer skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary package ($120,000 - $130,000 p.a) with performance bonuses ($170,000 - $180,000 OTE uncapped);Be part of a dynamic, diverse, and friendly team;Brisbane CBD office with flexible working conditions.To submit an application, please click the "apply" button.
