The Position The Business Development Manager - New South Wales will be reporting directly to the East Coast Head Office in Melbourne, with a view to opening a branch in Sydney within the next 12-18 months.
You will be given some ongoing accounts to manage but ultimately you will be responsible for developing your own business network all across Sydney and Regional NSW.
On an average day you will:
Source and develop new accounts Manage previously on-boarded accounts Visit and present to customers Prepare sales presentations Create solutions for customers' needs Prepare quotations Onboard new clients You will have the ability to sell all types of logistics and freight solutions to your customers, anything from project cargo, perishables, reefer, pharma, healthcare and in many more verticals.
The Package If you are the right person for the role then this company will offer:
A salary of $100k - A$150k + Super Uncapped commission structure Car allowance Company phone and laptop The Candidate This job would suit a candidate that has had recent experience selling freight forwarding solutions into any industry, preferably multiple different industries.
The ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:
Experience in both air and sea freight Experience in 3PL (third party logistics) and 4PL An understanding and experience in customs clearance A new business development attitude Be able to operate autonomously The ability to achieve sales targets set by management Ideally this company requires a no-nonsense salesperson who enjoys engaging their customer base on a regular basis.
