They have a strong presence in industrial markets including water/wastewater treatment, smart cities, manufacturing, utilities, FMCG, and more.About the RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development of new business and the expansion of existing business across the water and wastewater industry in QLD. This is an autonomous role where you will be trusted to manage your time and travel requirements in order to deliver successful outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop and implement strategies to build client-centric solutions into existing and new accountsVisit clients to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including at C-Suite levelPrepare proposals, respond to tenders and supervise agreementsParticipate in industry events, trade shows and exhibitionsAbout YouTertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical, automation etc.) OR a proven technical aptitude in a similar positionIn-depth understanding of PLC and SCADA systems, IIOT, RTUs, industrial communications, and network designExperience with solution-based sales approachA passion for all things industrial automation, with a keen interest in keeping abreast with the latest developments and products in the market.Full Class C driving license and a willingness to travelJob Type:
