My Gateway is looking for an experienced business development professional to develop a sales pipeline as well as manage inbound leads.
The primary purpose of this role is to market and promote My Gateway to businesses and industries resulting in an increase in the number of host employers that choose us for their apprentice and trainee needs.

We work collaboratively with client organisations to 'build valuable employees' via the apprenticeship and traineeship system.
We employ school leavers (mostly) and place them within our host employer network for on-the-job training and skill development.
Job tasks and responsibilities: Discover new business opportunities Development of sales prospectuses Develop and implement strategic sales plan annually to achieve sales targets Generate apprentice and trainee commencements through new prospect host relationships in targeted industry sector groups as determined by their manager. The role functions are not limited to new sales visits, cold calling, telesales, relationship management and relevant administrative tasks. Do you have? Proven experience in business development and consultative sales processes Highly motivated and result driven approach Experience in the VET sector, workforce development or labour hire. Demonstrated advanced strategic networking and consultative sales skills Dynamic, driven, and sales focused Ability to present in a professional, confident and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone, including 'cold calling' Develop and implement strategies to identify new clients and markets Ensure marketing and CRM databases are maintained Excellent personal presentation with a professional, confident and friendly image An autonomous, self-starter with the ability to motivate other staff Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Satisfy Working With Children Check driver's licence Job benefits and perks: RDOs Competitive salary + super + performance incentive Salary packaging.
