Business Development Manager - Grid Software Are you a dynamic and driven professional with a solid background in transmission, distribution, and generation systems? Do you excel in technical discussions and have a knack for developing business opportunities? Our Siemens Grid Software Business Unit is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. If you have experience using PSSE, PSSSINCAL, and other simulation tools, and you're ready to make a significant impact in the energy sector, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities: Manage the complete sales process from pricing to contract negotiation. Prepare technical solutions, offers, and define delivery concepts. Create market demand and present business cases to customers and stakeholders. Understand and clarify customer requirements, driving them into Siemens' technical concepts. Write solution specifications and develop operation philosophies. Detect local market requirements and collaborate with other Business Units and Headquarters. Support technical queries and leverage solutions for new grids and market trends. Promote the PSS software family to private and government customers. Develop business opportunities by visiting internal and external customers in AUS and NZL. About You: Experience with PSSE, PSSSINCAL, and other simulation tools. Strong knowledge of transmission, distribution, and generation systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to produce high-quality technical reports. Proven experience in business development and customer engagement. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
